I loved this city! It's an island and a city and a country...so modern, so clean and also so diverse with areas like Little India with authentic food and markets. We stayed at the Inn Crowd hostel
for four nights and met some new friends. Lizzie and I took the Night Safari tour which involves seeing a zoo at night by electric train...it was fascinating, they had built invisable enclosures so you felt as though you were right in the meadows with a herd of elephants at night. Everything was softly lit with no flash allowed so no pictures except for the cougar, who was trained and tame.
There was a great beach, and the subway system was a pleasure, the photo opps were endless. I woulfd love to live here for a year!
